I have two work focused loves in my life. The first is that sales is a professional skilled discipline that is fundamental to the success of each and every organisation. The second based in, my (never-ending) PhD research, how us amazing humans have been programmed to see the world, to learn and to evolve. Programmed first by our evolutionary past and then by the cultures sets we find ourselves in. I have spent my career intersecting the two to enable organisations to transform how they market and sell, why they sell the way the do and enabling their sales people to transform and evolve their own, individual, execution. The results I have delivered have driven the numbers where it matters in a sustainable way so we can build more consistently more effective sales organisations and teams. Double digit in year growth is my specialty. I have achieved this across a number of diverse sectors from FMCG, to telco, recruitment and IT, in SAAS, hardware and Cloud; sales is, after all, motivating a person(s) and organisations to spend money. Transforming the organisation one works within is motivating people to ‘spend’ time. They are one in the same thing.
